I can't hotlink Image for some reason, probably since it's PHP. Is that still not supported?

*edit* Oh, it's cached. Damn

The Toxic Avenger wrote: Looks like .png files with transparent backgrounds bug out when using a URL avatar. I think it's because the forums do not handle them properly (Disguise has the same problem with a black background added to his).
If you could provide links to the avatars causing problems that would be great.

There is no hot linking. Your avatar will be changed every 48 hours though. ;)

Sorry for the double posting, but since the information I requested was sent to me in PMs. Both the invalid gif bug, and the PNG transparency bugs should be fixed. In addition I now have it running PNGs through an optimizer as well.

It works for me. It's possible the server wasn't able to download it at that particular moment.

Apparently, the url that address leads to worked. Copying and pasting directly from my post (that's the URL the hosting site gave me) did not. Whatever, thanks man, or I'd still be stumped.

Don't you just love how it's not even a full HTML document? :P Of course this is just a hold over for future work.

For some reason it's blocking any links associating with tinypic and dropbox, don't know if this is an error or you made it this way.

From what I've seen dropbox wraps files with a fancy HTML gui which is not an image, thus rejected. Not sure about tinypic. If you give me the links I can let you know for sure.

Just changed my e-mail and now I have Gravatar that was attached to it forced (tried to change avatar in http://zandronum.com/avatars/, totally no effect; though avatar displayed in changing interface is correct). That is really bad, as Gravatar definitely has some problems with transparent image I used previously on this board. How to fix this?

Update: tried changing to different image, it worked. Still think there's something to fix.

The system should now check and update your email when you login.

If you're on about hot linking (or whatever it's called) tiny pic images, don't they'll replace them with NSFW material or just rather random pictures such as what happened in Baker's Legacy and spriting carnival topics in ZDoom.
