What's this?
  • This is a map-pack for Modern shool duel inspired in duel40.
What the f*ck is Modern School?
  • This is not new school, and not old school. It's modern school, for people who like to have smart and long duel games, like Quake 3 Arena.

  • This addon, modernSchoolDuelAddon, reduce the SSG damage in 25% (still instant kill), increase the rocket speed in 20% and the plasmaball speed in 15%, every Rocket Ammo gives you 2 rockets intsead of one, the bfg use 60 cells intsead of 40, modify the item respawn times and disable the megasphere respawn.

  • YES!, I KNOW YOU WANT MORE, THEN YOU GET MORE. Now with this addon you can play duels with overtime, that means that if you're in a tie and you're playing with timelimit, then the time is incremented in x minutes.

    Cvars:
    • ot_overtimelong: (default 2), the time, in minutes, to add when the match is tied.
      ADVICE: You can change the timelimit in the middle of a round ONLY when there wasn't happened a overtime yet, other case your timelimit change is not going to have effect in the next round/map.

Decay does not authorize the use of any of his maps for this. Also, it's bad practice to take maps from projects that are not even released yet.

Oh I see, ok, then a new version is coming without decay maps. And about the aeondm maps, I'll think about it... just think it.

Ok, since now this is not a NS mappack, it's a new type of duel who maybe people would like... or maybe not. It's a more slow and more strategic way of play duel, people who like to shoot and relax, please don't play this, this is going to be boring for you.

I know this mappack is going to be played by 3 people maybe with the title "Modern School duel 16" (I'm dreaming for that lot of players), but I don't care since I'm making this for fun.

News: new version (Or I should say first version) released.
News 2: new version (Now a real new version) released.
News 3: new version released. Now without AEONDM maps, I'll wait until the AEONDM mappack is finnished.
