Ah that's the True Legendary Annihilator, started on his sprite work but I'm nowhere near done. That picture was just a concept. My old pc's graphics card died and that's where my photoshop and everything was so I have no idea when it'll be finished.Blast88 wrote:I know the animation Cardihilator shows him firing from two and that the chance is 1/256 for him to shoot nukes as I've seen both of them happened. Anyways, I understand why you won't have him shoot one nuke instead of two. Also, in the third page of this thread, I notice the last picture of one of your comments shows the Legendary Annihilator with blue wings and some other things added. What is the name of that monster and will he be added?

The True Legendary Annihilator. That's what I thought. I thought of it being called that though it's using yellow color in the picture rather than blue color.Legendary wrote:Ah that's the True Legendary Annihilator, started on his sprite work but I'm nowhere near done. Yeah, that's why at the time it was just a concept because I was still experimenting with the color.Blast88 wrote:The True Legendary Annihilator. That's what I thought. I thought of it being called that though it's using yellow color in the picture rather than blue color.

Now how powerful will the True Leg Anni will be? Is he going to be the most powerful in the LCA. Also, the music theme for that monster by the way can be Warlords by Audiomachine because I think it would fit extremely well for the TLA's theme.
[WIP] Re: Complex Doom: LCA (Legendary Complex Addon)
I dunno to be honest. I'll take a look at that song though because most of the LCA music comes from Two Steps From Hell or Audiomachine. They have both have really good pieces, I'm sure that one will be good too.Blast88 wrote:Now how powerful will the True Leg Anni will be? Is he going to be the most powerful in the LCA. Well use Audiomachine's Warlords soundtrack as the theme for the True Leg Anni because it sounds very very epic.Legendary wrote:I dunno to be honest. You better not have forgotten about the ones I suggested! Globus - Preliator (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5q6skxRLnsI) and Juno Reactor - Navras (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D9s18rUaubc) are seriously worth checking out. I also recommend Two Steps From Hell - Decimator (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-f63MJjfmJg) because I could really see that one working as a legendary monster's theme song. Also, are you going to assign music to any other legendary weapons in the future? Seeing as the rifle has always had music, it would be nice to have the opportunity for more epic tracks with the other guns.Legendary wrote:I dunno to be honest. And what is the music for the Legendary Redeemer? I'm going to keep asking this because it's driving me crazy and I'm determined on getting the answer someday!
[WIP] Re: Complex Doom: LCA (Legendary Complex Addon)
Oh wow lol I actually did forget about those, I didn't write them down so they just escaped my mind. I'll definitely be checking out those tracks as well as the one Blast mentioned. As for the weapons I'm not sure, it would kind of make sense since the Rifle has it. If someone doesn't want the music for guns they could easily just turn it off with the console command. I'll have to give it some thought. For the Leg Redeemer though I still don't know the name of his song either. I think Blood was the one who assigned the music for him so he'd most likely know.ThePlamzJoker wrote:You better not have forgotten about the ones I suggested! Quick FYI for the board, the TLC Nuke ball does a base ten million damage, enough to pierce GodMode.
Wouldn't 11,000 do?

and maybe the leg sentient is bugged cuz you're using old opt or something like that
[WIP] Re: Complex Doom: LCA (Legendary Complex Addon)
Yep that's what it was, I was testing earlier with normal LCA and everything with the Leg Sent was working perfectly. Someone incorrectly copied the coding as I expected and completely messed him up.Skeleton wrote:and maybe the leg sentient is bugged cuz you're using old opt or something like that

Now about Juno Reactor - Narvas, I do remember that this song happens to appear in a Doom 2 wad and it's called /POL/.wad. It plays towards the final part of the map in that wad.ThePlamzJoker wrote:You better not have forgotten about the ones I suggested! Of those three songs you've suggested, I really like Decimator. Preliator is indeed epic, but it's a little slow and doesn't imply an action-packed fight (it could fit for an extremely rare, boss-difficulty enemy). And as much as I love Navras as a song, its use is a tad contrived these days... it's too popular and recognizable of a song, to the point where it almost seems like it fits better in the context of a parody. In my mind, Decimator seems like a perfect fit. It starts fast, and really invokes the type of emotion that you'd want from a legendary fight. I'd love to hear it in-game.

Funny cause I've never heard any of these songs before but they're really good. The Juno Reactor song is very.. interesting to say the least and I mean that in a good way. I think it would fit more as a song for a boss in CDI rather than an enemy in LCA. The Globus song sounds more hero like than villain to me. I agree with Twinkle about the Decimator song though, it would fit nicely.Twinkletwats wrote:Just a random third-party opinion here, for what it's worth.ThePlamzJoker wrote:You better not have forgotten about the ones I suggested! Update on LCA: Zheg has been really busy with family and job stuff but has recently contacted me. He says he doesn't really have much free time now which was what I suspected. However, he did say he will be finishing the sprites. Though he has been somewhat inactive I have used this extra time to iron out more bugs and create more content. Currently no eta, but once I receive the sprites from him I will be updating LCA.

Navras is one of the theme song of Matrix: Revolutions. In my head, if it was one of the legendary monsters' songs, it would reduce my immersion to a degree because I'd think "oh here's the Matrix song again". Maybe it's just me, but I'm probably not aloneLegendary wrote:Funny cause I've never heard any of these songs before but they're really good. Where do you think Decimator fits perfectly on? I find Warlords by Audiomachine to fit the most for the True Leg Anni as that monster is going to sound chaotic as hell and Warlords by Audiomachine happens to sound so chaotic that it would be a fittable epic theme for the True Leg Anni. Perhaps, Decimator can be the theme song for a different leg monster instead.Twinkletwats wrote:Just a random third-party opinion here, for what it's worth.ThePlamzJoker wrote:You better not have forgotten about the ones I suggested!
