DHTP Help

Hey guys, long time lurker but now I need help.
Was playing Plutonia today and I got to map 2 (Well of Souls) and noticed this problem with the wall textures.

As you may know, this texture is supposed to be animated it starts off normal and the texture brightens, the error pops during the lighter phase.
I have DHTP (Doomsday version, flats and textures folders are extracted to Zandronum directory).
Does anyone know how to fix this, I tried removing the flats / textures folders and added the pk3 file to my skins folder and added it to the ini but it just caused more errors with other textures. I also tried using the zDoom version of DHTP and that makes it even more whacky
I tried following the instructions from this thread (as he seemed to have the same issue as me) but it came out the same.
