Dark Ambient Music Pack 3

Post by Doomenator » Wed Apr 01, 2015 6:36 am

I was trying to achieve a certain atmosphere.
I note that in a sense it's not music, but background sound.

Example.

Download from Yandex Disk.

Why does it sound like every track was ran through Paulstretch?
You probably went a little overboard on the amount of tracks as well. There's no unique characteristics to any one of these tracks -- not one. After awhile, they all begin to sound the same.

All right that was the idea, I like it when all the tracks sound the same it doesn't change the atmosphere of the game.
(Sorry for my English)

Hallo,

Did you get these music files from this post, and also can you please elaborate which of the following links did each of the music files came from? Or if that is not the correct source, would you kindly specify a working source?

Thanks,

That's right, I originally used the elements of these tracks. And pointed it out in the credits.txt

Thank you for the reply. And yes, you are correct - there was a mention of the owner and a hint of the title in the credits.txt, but it was too vague for me to pin-point the correct source file.

Thanks for the help.

EDIT:

By chance did you make this project yourself? The source file isn't exactly what I hear compared to your provided music on the original post. If you made this yourself, can you add some sort of a license to it? I would like to possibly use this for my later works.

This is completely my work.
You can use it without any restrictions, just mention the credits.

If you could, please add this statement to the original topic. I ask this, that way it is clear that anyone can utilize these resources in other projects - provided that the author's wishes has been meet. Plus some wad hosting services, such as /idgames, requires a strict acknowledgement of where the resource came from and did the author allowed it to be used in various other resources with all of the restrictions and\or wishes being up-kept.

Sounds amazing. Just fantastic.
Question. It's for all levels? Doom 1 E1-E4 and Doom 2 map01-map32. I just see only 21 track.

On Zandronum and GZDoom works fine, for jDoom can be adapted, about the other ports not sure.
But you can duplicate the tracks and add the title.
