First one looks good, could use very little shading and it's good to go. Till something better pops up that can be the logo.

So, given that I lost interest on this for the time being, I'm releasing it. You can use the contents as is or modify if you wish, granted I'm credited.

Here's the file, just put the content to your wad folder. DnD.zip

Big changes:

- RPG elements got a revamp! There's a shop now. Make sure you bind your appropriate keys.

- Monsters are rebalanced and introduced a few more niche ones.

- More weapons to play around with distinct, hopefully well defined purposes.

- Different ways to build your character!

- Hopefully no bugs.

Known issues:

- In multiplayer, DM-specific items will spawn for some reason, even in non-DM modes.

- Tracers may act up or not show properly, it's fixed. (There's a build you can use here: Build)

That's all for now. Let me know what you think. The ACS source can be shared on request.

Pretty cool mod. Some bugs, though. When you pick up a Super Shotgun from the map, you are able to use it alongside of any of the upgrades you bought. Also, when you buy the upgrade for the ssg, a script error appears as "ACS: I don't know what p_slot3Xreplaceo is" Also, a script error appears when the chaingun general attacks: "jump targer 'shockfire' not found in chaingun general"

What upgrade for SSG did you buy?
I bought the eraser at the time, but the bug appears for both upgrades from what i've seen.

there seems to be no upgrades for weapons instead new weapons are added once one is bought, for example buy Erasus Shotgun and you will still have normal shotgun and ssg with Erasus, however Weapon tips seems to give different information about them, also erasus is said to be explosive but nothing gets gibbed by (or cracked open like the Incarnate)

Erasus isn't said to be explosive, I don't recall. Post a screenshot maybe?

Hmm, my client seems to crash after a map change. The map loads, but the second I move it crashes. Doesn't seem to affect the server. Any ideas? Sucks because this is pretty damn fun!

edit: Tried offline SP as well, did the same thing but it took longer to crash after the map change. This is with 3.0-alpha-r151228-1140

Huh, it doesn't crash for me at all, what were you doing exactly when it crashed?

EDIT: There apparently is a bug with Zandronum 3.0 beta that causes item capacities to mess up, when it's fixed that might fix the crashes for you, but I still don't experience any crashes.

I've narrowed it down to something in my config file, 3.0 might have comparability issues with older config files. I tried running a completely default config file and it seemed to resolve the issue. Going to start with a new config file and configure everything again and see if I can duplicate the issue again, if I can I'll post the configuration file.

edit: Ok, configured my settings from default in 3.0. Config setting are provided in the code box below. Still getting crashes shortly after a map change. Vanilla Doom 2 doesn't seem to have any problems running with these settings, let me know if anyone can duplicate on their machine using these settings.

edit 2: yep, something doesn't like those settings. Played for 2 hours with close to default settings (+open gl & 1920x1080) and didn't have any issues. I'll try poking around more tomorrow and try to determine what it is.
