Speaking of beams... The Ice Beam I noticed does not fire too well around corners and when your back is against a wall. A similar problem to that of the Plasma Beam, I hope the projectiles are fixed in the next version.

Yeah it's because the projectiles are wide enough so that they spawn slightly outside your hitbox. Only real way to fix that without making the projectiles fire out of the left side of the Hand Gun is to make the projectile radii smaller.

Actually, that'd solve the corner issue too. Doesn't Plasma use A_Explode already, anyway?

boost ball is the most overpowered thing, liek if u agree

(no but seriously, oneshotting while becoming basically unhittable? even if it's unlikely to hit, yes please)

Yup. Coming off a fresh batch of balance testing, plenty of things that're getting changed--damage values getting juggled all over!

I'm on Zandronum IRC and on Steam.

I mean I'd still consider myself a novice mapper, but I love Metroid too much to pass this up.
