More statistics in zandronum- survival

Hey guys, after huge maps in survival mode (we just finished map 30 of sf2012) I thought that it would be interesting to have more statistics than just killed monsters and time.
Isn't it possible to generally integrate stats like
"how many of each monster killed, how many imps, cybers, etc)
"how many shots fired of each weapon"
"how many lifeenergy refilled" etc...
just to mention some examples. Would this be very intense to do?
What do you think about this idea?

Not intense at all, they are all very doable. The one and only problem I can think of would be that if you killed monsters via barrels, then you'd not be credited the proper scores but that's probably the only thing there is.

Yes you would, in the same way that you get "credit" for frags earned by shooting barrels close to enemies in DM.

A_GiveToTarget on death state works in that case? It didn't the last time I tried...

Well I'm not sure if targets get set correctly based on "who killed who", but I know that you
do at least get kill/frag credit for enemies fragged by shooting a barrel.

Yes, I know that too and I think it's common knowledge around here. However, the target in that case becomes the barrel (I'm pretty sure of that) instead of the player. Since not too many maps utilize barrels to kill monsters, I guess it's negligable. (Although a workaround certainly would be nice)

Nice! Perhaps we could see some of these ideas in further zandronum versions? I am sure alot of people would appreciate it. Also in other game modes...

I've considered adding such a system to one of my mods so I could keep track of the weapon balance, heh.
Almost all of those features can be added via mods right now tbh, just need to find a guy who has some free time on him and isn't a lazy

.
