AOW map - Convulsion of the nature (First beta is out!)

Hi there guys!

As many of you know (those who play AOW) I was developing an AOW map called "Convulsion of the nature" in the AOW forums(same tittle as the Stronghold map), the progress was going well until laziness, lack of motivation and being unispired make me give up.

Now, after 4 months, I worked again in the map and its almost finished (just some little bugfixing and thing placement left) but I need your help. I need you to test it in order to fix anything wrong and improve the gameplay.

Important!
- In order to play it you must also use aow2_omega_r2539.pk3 and skulltag_data126.pk3
- Map name: AOW44 - Convulsion of the nature
- I know that some terminals textures are a bit disaligned, I´ll fix that later
- Taller mechs cannot pass through the tiberium room but smaller ones can.
- Yes, the obby is in the ceiling, the terminal is in the room near it (if an enemy reaches that place it´s completely safe from obby shots!)
- Test it in software mode

I think it's still being worked on, because i had to download some newer files a while ago, I haven't played for quite some time, but i do think it's still WIP.

Also, i like this map keep working on it please :).

Awesome detail, but that's will lag as GZshit.
more than 6500 sectors
Some maps with over 9000+ sectors works fine if they are closed.
My old map had < 3000, but it's lagging as hell, because opened.

Well, the map is partially opened and that means that will be a little FPS drop in a specific place of the map, however I only feel it in OpenGl, software works fine.

Im afraid that I must touch a little bit the spawn room due to a bug that I cant fix myself. The script that gives you the class needs a second trigger to confirm the selection (I wanted to do it like in AOW20 and AOW21 but doesnt work :( ) so I´ll replace those forcefield with switches.

1. The switches work better than portals in the first place IMO.
2. The map looks great, and if people lag they just have to get new hardware or GTFO.
I wonder why people rage so much over their FPS, it if a complete flaw on their own end and their crying keep modders and mappers from doing really advanced resource-heavy stuff that would be really cool.
3. AoW is worked on, I actually thought when I saw Steel Talons vs Black Hand that it was a single person who just made his own version, until they convinced me it was the official version of aow. Furthermore the aow website actually tell the same thing.

The last commit was back in August, everyone lost hope and motivation was almost nonexistent long before that.

Uh, sorry, but I never ran the project. Like ever. I tested for a little while because they needed testers. Someone's been spreading misinformation. I've even gotten PMs from people asking if they can have permission to do whatever with AOW, so uh. Yeah.

When I asked why they think I am, they say it's either because they heard I am from other people or because I have some videos of it on my youtube account. Yes, everyone with videos of a videogame on their channel made that game. Totally.

I don't really see myself working on AOW much anymore. Working on a mod mostly all alone with half of the co-devs being as useless as MXU's testing rank to a brainless playerbase already was bad enough. Now said playerbase is also actively rejecting like 1.5 years of work done into one release (which in testing even proved considerably more fun), without giving any reasoning other than "I DON'T LIKE IT" or "IT SUCKS". And considering the amount of work needed to fully clean it up... yeah.

I got better things to do than to cater for immature, 8 y'old fucks.

I have only seen you on an aow server.... twice? That isn't really much of asking people, and if you want any useful info you have to ask reasonable people directly.
I remember the main problem I personally had with the new thing was the whole visual, it didn't look like doom at all anymore, instead it looked like a half try to make it look like a modern game, of which it is not.
