Hello and welcome to the Project Ideas Breeding Center! :cool:

Jokes aside, you can use this thread to post your ideas on projects (just like the old one from Skulltag) that you currently have on your mind and who knows maybe someone will decide on actually making it!

Use this thread only for suggesting or discussing project ideas related to DooM, Heretic, HeXen, Strife or any other IWAD.

Keep the thread clean, if possible.

Ill work on it right away. but first... what about the skulltag game mode? Should it still be called that?

Hello, i think that zan needs an option to have custom exes that will be downloaded directly (by the wad downloading programs) from the site of the server (just like wads) and be added manually to the wadlist. They will be used automatically when joined a server that requires them. This will disallow sprite changers to do their job and making the game easier by eliminating them.

Just imagine that situation, one class is little and transparent then someone changes it to BIG ASS PURPLE CUBE...

Why? Its anti-exploit that does not allow cheating... Also you can only join to a server with proper EXE.

Zandronum DM, CTF, TLMS (etc) maps that will be in the Zandronum.exe, just like in the Skulltag.exe with the ST DM, CTF, TLMS maps.

I don't see any reason to rename the game mode and have no plans to do so.

You can use a setting to force everyone's skin to be the default Base skin.

However, this brings up something; I'd still love to see a system where SkullTag could use custom DLLs (likely on the server end but I'm not too sure how it'd work, havent' thought about it much). Basically, a modder could use a DLL API with SkullTag and load in their own game modes or changes to the game this way. But it'd be too much work at current I imagine, and not really worth it all that much, especially with the current state of the project just starting off.

I'd work on such a thing myself but have my own projects to focus on, along with the reasons mentioned above.

I hope someone update ZBlood to bring back alt fire to all weapons, fix gameplay bugs, hopefully hi res textures and add missing weapons+maps from the original game.

add the flags a_setproperty(height,"ammount") / for crouch (monsters actors) and a_setactorvelocity(x,y,z) / (jumps) for create fighting games for zandronum.

I had an idea to do a remake of Turok: Rage Wars, which is basically just deathmatch with more cerebral bores and chronosceptors
