It is a weird game...
There is a saying: there are no bad games, there are bad players.
Zandronum multiplayer absolutely not protected from cheaters and hackers. And this is a much more serious problem than some trolls.

That is actually what i mean. Zdwars: interesting game. Players: awful people in general. Game mechanics: they could be a bit more " generous "... ( they reward veterans and punish noobs a lot )

This is my personal judgement. It should not be forbidden, to express a judgement eh...

Funny things you wrote. However from the position of the noobs, it is quite typical.
Step into the ring against a professional boxer and you will understand how harsh reality is. Same applies to the games. Games are a reflection of this reality or are part of it.

There are plenty other tricks that are inherent with Doom Engine that you should know if you want to have an edge against your opponents. Most are situational while some are more drastic. Those will never go away as there's currently no way to mod away quirks of the engine. It's better to just learn and adapt rather than complain about them.

I don't see why it's a bad thing for a game to have many things to know and be aware of either. It adds dimension and skill requirement. Something you see very little in many other mods.

Wasn't there a Domination Gamemode released for Zdoom Wars a while back? I could see a gamemode like that relieving the problem of games that last hours and hours plus it would be a lot of fun. I've always wondered why no one ever plays it. I see some servers running it but they are always empty.
