So after many months of doing virtually no development with Mercenaries other than small DECORATE tweaks, I've begun serious work on it again. I've made a lot of changes but this video is just a showcase of what I've done in the last few days. You can now buy items "semi-auto" (as fast as you can click, no more holding the buy button and waiting 3 seconds), the blood is splashier but less laggy because I reduced the lifetime, and the Mossberg can now be upgraded to use deer slugs which can penetrate multiple targets and do a fuckton of damage, however they're not very accurate at long distances so it's not an ideal sniping weapon (but it's amazing for crowd control, much like the Carbine).
