Ofcourse It ain't dead :P, just haven't updated the forum in a little while. There is lots of fixes (don't remember them all), just need 2 more weapons then we will have the first release for zandronum.

Finally A month later! I can present you with the first version of bossbattles for Zandronum (still runs on skulltag aswell for now).
for it to function right on zandronum, you will need the skulltag_data.pk3, unless you like to play with missing textures.

New additions:

+ 3 new bosses, Ultima spider, Conqueror, and dominator. (This is the new stuff I added, the previous updates a few posts earlier haven't been scene to the public, therefore there is like 20 new bosses.

+ Museum map has been revamped to support these new monsters.

+ 2 new maps so far, still planning on more

+ 6 weapons for each player class along with each class having there own special ability.

+ lots of bugfixes, I would love to explain them all but There is too many and I don't wana spend an hour remembering which ones.

+ New system kind of like pokemon, each boss has a weakness and resistance to certain weapons, lets say if its a fire type monster, shoot it with ice. There is 6 different types, Fire, Ice, Poison, Explosive, Electric, and Bullet. Lets say you are fighting a armored monster like a robot or ironlich, a bullet weapon might not be the best Idea as bullets don't do alot to armored enemies. I know not every monster screams out what type they are and you may not be able to tell what kind of weapon you have either unless you dig into the decorate, There is a plan for this so that people know what type of gun or type of enemy they are versing.

+ There is 6 classes just like before, 2 classes are marines and the other 4 are magic type. So magic guys wont have bullet type weapons, and bullet guys don't have magic weapons.

Not really a remake lol more of continuation of where it left off on skulltag. Please if you have stuff to contribute I will be more then happy to take, especially monsters :).

Update on version 2 for zandronum:

Things to fix or add

- more of a music option on map 14

Fixed

+ Red ghosts overpowering
+ Infernodemon invisible projectiles
+ evo baron invisible projeciles
+ insanity spider invisible projectiles
+ fixed boss area on map 5 where you would die
+ Rage staff alt fire too laggy
+ vorpal sword ammo fixed
+ Guardians death strings
+ Strifeguy powerup changed
+ changed fire of fighters staff of protection
+ changed bows alt fire
+ Blocked players from accessing out of map on map04
+ fixed a fall to death glitch on map12
+ Fixed vorpal sword freeze
+ Fixed summoned monsters, They no longer take damage from players and aresemi invisible
+ changed nova cannons alt
+ added Gods Spell for Mage
+ Added A health spell for Corvus
+ added firewall spell for corvus
+ added nuke rocket for strife guy
+ players cannot hurt certain friendly monsters

Fixed? but not tested yet

- map 2,3,4,5,7,12,13 bugged modified, needs to be tested to prove that it doesn't still freeze.

Thanks too popsoap and others for helping me find the bugs.

Finally We arrive to version 2:

+ all maps, Replaced all previous invasion script with more compatible one, This will assure no Map freeze! Thanks to Untrustable

+ corvus regionsphere, Made you a really dark color

+ Lightbringer Open Gl bug, fixed thanks to popsoap

+ When some monsters exploded, they would have a different color explosion, Fixed thanks to popsoap

+ Corvus bone digger Weapon alt fire would do nothing, Fixed but that weapon has been replaced by soul reaver.

+ Doomguy can now throw mines

+ Strife guy can now shoot nukes

+ health potions are no longer glitching, thanks to thetis

+ Fixed Bishop from hexens blur effect thanks to popsoap

+ Fixed Dsparil summoners Wizards ghost off ability, Now he stays translucent, Thanks to popsoap.

+ Map 13 lowered the amount of monsters on it ( would normally lag really bad.

+ Different Health potions are now dropped from the enemies

+ clientsided more stuff thanks to popsoap

+ Cleric summoning abilities have changed, now summons one random medium strength monster on one powerup and 6 random weak monsters on the other.

+ New powerup for mage called the sickness, shoots poison in all directions that causes alot of damage.

+ more open gl effects for strifemonsters, superdemon, wolf bosses

+ Cardinal doesn't attack children anymore thanks to popsoap.

+ avatar and hells patriarch now have floating orbs around them, thanks to thetis and popsoap.

+ thors orbs are fixed, was originally the wrong color.

+ Mage staff didn't look right firing alt attack, fixed now

+ one new map.

+ Fighter has new powerup, gives him a random rune

+ Icon of sin has been added

+ other bosses have been added

+ tons of other fixes that probably aren't noticeable.

Speaking of new (or more) Bosses....?

Im working on this guy, as being a new (type) of Boss.
Funny as it may sound, these 3 frames is all i need for his appearance.
Ofcourse there will be more sprites included with this Boss, but i can't show it right now.
Im still working on them, but the facial part is done.
I just stole the picture via Google and editted him.

My bad for not replying to you yet on zdoom untrustable :O.

The face kind of looks like a baron if he were a clown :P, is he going to be head like sjas or jitterskull?
Or are you still making a body, nevertheless i still can't wait :D.

None. The head is part of the Hand of Chaos as we discussed earlier on ZDoom forums. I can't spoil the complete idea here just yet.
And no worry about late or early reply. :wink:
I'll explain more about this Boss in PM on ZDoom, But its not Sjas, and no Jitterskull type.
If it was, it wouldn't be a new type of Boss.

Finally After a Month I present version 3 right before turkey day!

+ 1 New map, It is halloween themed, was originally supposed to come out on that holiday but as I was finishing the map, I made a stupid move and didn't save it until I was about finished. Doombuilder crashed and I lost it entirely, So after that I was upset and decided to work on cacocontamination til I got the balls to remake the map.

+ New monsters for the new map

+ lots of minor bug fixes

Still more to come, Need more maps and they are coming but slowly and surely!

Hey, the first link... They say it is Satan, but if you have ever seen my Satan Servant, this Satan in the said video link is just a pet compared to my Satan Servant.
And for what i know, my Satan Servant is a pet type on its own to my real bad ass mother focker Boss.
I mean, he has an Instant Death spell which kills every players instantly, no avoidance possible, and every time a player dies, Satan Servant absorbs the players Soul and regains health that way.
...And Satan Servant has many more spells to mollest the players at sight......
Nah, this Satan-baron type is just a projectile spamming weakling. :razz:
I never had let this Satan run in my M.A.D.2 project, but im sure, if i let him fight my Satan Servant, disactivate his Instant Death spell, Satan would still eat dirt before my Satan Servant hehehe. :razz:

A little example against Dreadnought, Boss of Delta Invasion...
