I've decided to take a crack at making a Heretic DM map. However, I will say right now that the item placement might be terrible as I've never gotten around to testing the map. As a result I wouldn't be surprised if the gameplay sucks until further testing refines the map.

Hopefully if there's any interest, I'll get around to finishing the map for good soon!

Excellent, about time Heretic got some DM love there's always been a lack of multi player content for it. Would you be making more?

Well, I've decided that since there really is a lack of Heretic DM content, I'll make it a goal to release a pack of 5-7 maps (including this one) sometime before the end of this year.

I'll be posting a release candidate in a new thread whenever it's ready. Also, if I ever make the unlikely decision to cancel the project, I'll be sure to post the notice.

P.S. Thanks Springy. Your intrigue in addition to Blzut3's was simply enough to get me motivation to make a Heretic DM map pack.

I'm interested in this. I always loved Heretic DM, the whole inventory thing made item placement and control so much more important.
