- The texture usage is just plain bad and there's no consistency. You can't just mix random STARTANx, SHAWNx, FLATxx, and METALxx textures and expect it to look harmonious. My suggestion is to have a general texture "theme" in mind before you start mapping and adhere to it with moderate strictness. Deviations are fine (and in fact, are welcomed), as long as their placement is thoughtful. Basically, refrain from picking random textures. I can tell that's what you did.
- You should learn how to set textures to "upper unpegged". It's not hard. It's the "U" key, if you're using DB2's 3D mode. Also, whatever custom "nukage" texture that is looks like green spaghetti.
- The HUD bar is a total eyesore. Nothing is aligned, words and numbers overlap the edges, and the health/ammo/armor numbers are too small. Also, what is that thing in the middle, where the Doomguy's face would be?
- There are tons of artifacts on the Mario sprites.
- I don't know what kind of weapon that is, but it appears to be an energy/cell-type weapon. Whatever it is, that green ring around the "muzzle" looks really really bad.
So there. That's my constructive criticism for you.

Seriously... You're gonna have to do better than this if you want people's attention aside from your friends. Even whatdafuck.wad offers more to talk about then this... and I'm very sorry, but as sad as it is... Pissing Clowns > This.
Now you probably feel a bit threatened by all that, but rest assured it's nothing personal. All modders including myself have gone through the same sort of thing, and for the most part it helps us make our projects better or inspires us to create something new and exciting. You might as well get used to it if you plan on continuing this mod.
My advice would be to change the name 'Youtube Poop Doom Adventure', seeing as you said you're removing all the YTP stuff, and take this mod in a completely different direction. ASAP. Or, another option, turn it into some sort of jokewad with some actual comedy that isn't lame. Otherwise this wad's future looks grim at best...
Hopefully you use this project as a learning experience to get better at doom modding, then create something that everyone can appreciate. I know for a fact that a huge chunk of doom players don't like the clash between grungy doom textures & graphics and bright colorful cartoon characters. Maybe it was cool in 1997, but now in 2012 it just looks... Degrading.
Apologies for being so harsh, but it needed to be said that way. Maybe there's still potential for this mod to achieve something greater if you do something drastic. Best of luck to you and your project, and I hope you're enjoying the holidays. Merry Christmas & Cheers for the new year.
To be fair, I didn't see all of the maps, so I could be wrong about some of them. Though from what I did see, some are lacking details, and like Aenima said, some don't have the greatest texture usage. Check out the maps in Crucified Dreams, they are raw eye candy and have great consistency of theme. And yes, the sprites mainly are what made it seem that bad. Sorry to dampen your day.

It's lame and just unfunny as both sources have just been used to the point of suicide upon seeing them. Also, some monsters have original doom sprites which i recommend fixing.
4. 6 classes? REALLY? I doubt people are going to attempt to use 3 of them, let alone 7. Try and do characters that people might actually have fun playing instead of just MABOIsonic stuff that just looks kinda stupid.
5. Weapons seem poorly made visually and some are just ugh. Its pretty sad and boring knowing that i can beat the 15 maps on here with ONLY the king's starting weapons. Make it more balanced please.
Now comes my personal advice:
1. For the love of god don't use XWE. The only good thing it's at is changing pixel colors on sprites while in the wad/pk3. Otherwise, XWE just corrupts wads a lot, only loads certain files and looks like it was just thrown together in a few days. Get either SlumpEd or Slad3 as they are at least more stable and offer a bit more freedom than XWE.
2. If you're not going to act mature on the Zand forums, you may as well just leave. Practically everyone here on the forums are for the most part mature, and calling people names for no particular reason just makes you look bad.
3. If you use mspaint or xwe (and I hope you don't), get either Photoshop or GIMP. They're decent for making custom sprites.
4. Making some friends on here is probably the best thing to do here on the forums. Some are good mappers, some are good spriters, and some are just.....GOOD. It can speed up your wad's process and you can take some personal advice from them where needed.
