That's a nifty HUD, but I don't like the banding on the left side nor bald beard Doomguy.

Thanks. Xen made the original hud, then NightFright/DTDSphere did some work on it. I just touched it up adding a few things.

Your the Second Guy I seen that complained about how the layout is.. well third. I have to look at my irc logs, but It looks good to me so.. Eh. I just wish there was a better spot to put the Secondary Ammo Display.

Btw, the hudface came from Zharkov Goes to the Store Its a pretty funny wad. but eh... I like it. I didn't put it in the hud because well.. I don't know how to, unless I force the users to use a Class.

I just extracted the hudfaces from zharkov (the wad), and then put it in another wad, named it ZharkovHudFaces.pk3, and loaded it via skins.

in the Brutal Doom v17 Test 1, there seems to be some texture problems (instead of textures all i see in some places are HoM's, try Entryway in Doom 2, it's easy to spot)

1 - That's why NoirSuccubus made the Brutal Arsenal. I think he still needs to register and create the thread again.
2 - Sarge also made a Map-pack, I think it was called Sinful Dimension. Somebody may need to correct me on that.
Could you please tell this NoirSuccubus to link "Brutal Arsenal"?

It is frustrating to find out about neat stuff and then not be able to use it! A shame and a waste! Kindly ask him to as MarkIV, if it can be linked on Moddb along Brutal Doom?

I'm not sure how to get in contact with him. He's not on the members list for Zandronum or the ZDoom forums.

found another texture bug in the 017 Test 1 release, the elevators in Map 09 The Pit instead of having their regular texture are just simply black (probably the same texture that causes Halls of Mirrors in Map 01 Entryway)

That's SUPPORT2 I brought up earlier and if one knows how to edit a WAD inside a PK3, it can be easily rectified.

This is annoying. V 0.17test versio also have load crash bug. This load crash bug begin BD v 0.16 test versio. Strange others players dont seem have load crash bug, or they dont play others maps? Only Doom 1 and 2 maps?

Cyberdemon and Spidermastermind explosive dont kill anymore. It removed because they cant telefrag without self die too. Can that explosive kill add back? When you kill Cyberdemon and Spidermastermind. Add some delay to explode, and you have time to run away before explode.

Sometime Shotgun Zombie shoot 1 time and start reload weapon. Is that bug or purpose?

Spidermastermind have bug. When Spidermastermind try shoot steeply up angle. Mastermind hurt self. Its strange how Mastermind can hurt self, but not hurt others Mastermind.

Hey guys will 0.17 will have an aimable Rocket Launcher and an MP40?
I Have an idea if the Rocket Launcher will be aimable, Without aiming (The original one) the Rocket Launcher will fire faster, And if the Rocket Launcher is aimed, It will fire a bit slowly (Like how the Assault Rifle fires faster when not aimed but it fires slowly (Semi-Auto) when it is in Iron Sight mode).

Yes you do, load Skulltag_Data_126.pk3 first then Brutaldoom.

I never had to login.. What are you doing? Just wait a few mins, then it will start the download. It never gave me hell, maybe back in the day, but the site has cleaned up.. alot

DaFaq.. Well that's new. Never had that before, till Now. I dunno then bro, best to download the files from Here.

EDIT: Btw, for some reason, I can't get Brutaldoom17test to run in Ultimate Doom. I tried shuffling the load order, yet nothing works. I'm not sure if this still runs in Skulltag but.. its annoying to NOT be able to play this in Ultimate Doom. :|

I downloaded brutaldoomV017test1 and tried loading it using skulltag (98d) or zandronum (after loading skulltag_actors.pk3), I get:

Unknown texture SLIME12
EDIT: this only happens when used with the DOOM.wad IWAD, works fine with other doom WADs
EDIT 2: basically the same complaint as the guy above me

I'm having some issues with BrutalDoom 0.16b and Skulltag 0.98d. I created a custom server with 8 joinable slots and 24 spectator slots, and I played Ultimate Doom (with BrutalDoom mod) with several other people on Ultra-Violence difficulty. Everything was going smooth until THE final mission, [E4M8: Unto the Cruel], when we were suddenly beset with massive lag-spikes as we killed the enemies on the map. It got so bad that everyone, save for myself, was kicked because of massive packet loss. I was unable to triangulate the cause of this problem. I am currently testing a custom Brutal Doom II server with the Janitor addon from ModDB, and as far as I know, it may be the only solution. Any assistance on the matter would be much appreciated.

I've tried making something similar to this before. (monster falling damage)

Note that it can be very buggy at times, especially if the map/server is using anything other than sv_gravity 800 or if the monster lands on a solid thing like a lamp or decoration or another monster (they can get stuck in a permanent loop).

Random things that annoyed me when I played this just now:
[spoiler]No consistancy with ADSing (Some guns with no alternate fire and obvious sights don't ADS)
When firing the rifle and out of ammo it doesn't switch to another gun (and other guns switch to it)
No ammo secondary counter for SSG
Ironsight tip of the shotgun is red only in reload animation
Wavering gun animation is just annoying in ADS, we have crosshairs so its not like it's doing anything
Tip of rifle in ADS doesn't match the crosshair (too low)
Flamecannon sprites are not aligned to center (Horizontally)
Left hand in knuckle crack animation is cut off
Knuckle cracking sound is too quiet[/spoiler]
