Hey guys. I am back with news on the map I am making for WDI. Some pics from the map:

The map is 85% completed, with some minor fixes and placement of weapons still to be done. The map is called 'Men's night out", based on a night at the bar that goes terrible wrong. The map is big (I'd say around the size of Surrounded) and is very detailed. Many strategic murderer escape tunnels have been placed all around the map, ensuring that it will fit in with the rest of the WDI family.

That's looking really good Sicamore! (Though do you think you can spoiler your screenshots so they don't stretch my browser? :P)

I still haven't gotten feedback yet on whether a shortened respawn time for murderer items would be good or not. If I don't get any replies, I'll assume 45 seconds for all items is fair game. :V

Dang Sicamore, that's looking good! :D Definitely has the same feel that the stock maps do, which is a very good thing.

I really need to get around to making a map sometime.

And Shooter, 45-60 seconds sounds about right.

EDIT: Requesting next thread title to be "Who Dun It 4: This Time It's Personal"

This map has an incomplete BSP tree.

LOL WTF i never got a error like that, when i look to the water place i saw strange things, and my fps droped to 0 O_O.
an i7 shouldn´t have a error like that it have alot of mem xD

Sounds like a memory leak might've occurred. There is nothing I can do on that. :/

Also, i7 is a processor, it doesn't have memory per-say. :V

no i was talking about cache memory, so should i do something to check the ram or something?

I've had that error as well. Perhaps it's worth taking a second glance at the map and trying to fix some things?By the way, not too important, but I have intel Xeon 4.2 ghz, 16 gb of ram and a 3 gb gpu. So I can imagine how this would appear on the pc of an average player. I think it's also some things in the map because no other one has ever crashed on me - not even high school of pain.

Hey it happen again on the same map D:
i think maybe the map is corrupted =/
don´t know the why but the wdi is the wad that corrupt more here (just happen with he =/)

I'd like anyone working on a serious map for this to post about it here if you have not already. The next version is pretty much set to go aside from testing and new maps, so since this will be your new resource, I will send you a copy to work with for your map.

I also plan on making a map, expect to see some progress in the next few days.

Wdi lags often because it is rich in gzdoom 3d floors and dynamic lights. Some maps, such as high school of pain even contain 3d models.

Hey I'm already using old resource from wdi 4. Can I get the new one? Also, since zandronum won't be supporting skulltag data.pk3, will skulltag things such as archive statues still work?

Be patient, I'll send it out later tonight hopefully.

And thanks for reminding me about the statues and such; I'll have to go through and find any textures or objects that need to be recreated for this mod. If someone went through and made a list, that'd be helpful. <_<

I don't know, but I have to make sure that nothing breaks if I want this to be as compatible with Zandronum as I can possibly make it, meaning that I should make it run without skulltag_data dependencies.

I'll have to notify Zeberpal to update his map, as well. :P

Zeberpal.. Marsis if I remember? Also for the new resource, I assume it will be fully identical to its predecessor other than new things? This is important because i don't want my map to mess up with the new resource .

The only things changed are some improved graphics of various weapons (provided by Mooseknuckle), a new weapon, and a bunch of bugfixes and balance changes. Resource wise, it's virtually the same.
