Zandronum

With the spooky season over, it's now time for the cold season to set in. The Ru5ty Sh4ck presents the next entry into the long deathmatch series that you have grown to know: FreonDM. The concept takes some of the crazy colors previously seen in Neon and mixes in a frozen motif. The pack consists of 9 frigid maps that bring forth the expected gameplay of previous *eon packs and adds a small dash of environmental hazards here and there. There is also the addition of 3 new weapons which adds to the mix of craziness: the Laser Chaingun, Flamethrower, and Freeze Rifle. Beta 3 is now released and the links in the first post have been updated. A bit has happened since the first release including new maps with guest submissions from Major Arlene and Rivi. Existing maps have had weapon/item layout changes based off feedback along with balance changes to the new weapons. Due to the amount of maps, at this point we'll move onto releasing more frequent beta releases and hopefully more testing session. We still have some new maps that are currently 'work in progress' and anyone interested in submitting a map can reach out to us. Happy fragging.

Dormant, but long overdue for an update. New version has some fixes to existing maps and 4 brand new maps making the grand total 19. Links to the files have been updated to their newest versions. The next release version will probably be an RC and will mark the beginning of the end of this project.

Love the purple and magenta textures.

Haven't seen a lot of that in a DM pack since SpaceDM.

Today marks the project going into RC1. It's a been a long and grinding road to this point but we're all happy with the current state of the project. It may not be as easy to create, playtest and fine tune as it was 10 years ago, but perseverance paid off and we're glad to release the 22 maps and hope everyone finds something they enjoy. Moving forward, any releases will either be a collection of minor fixes/edits or the final release. Links have been updated in the original post.
