I'm going to get a copy of the game, heard there's windows source ports about now, play it for a bit then decide what to recreate in the same way I've done so far for quake and DN (couldn't rip those areas, had to remake them... Unreal is going to be a complete b***h for the area I have in mind!!!)

To be honest, I never knew him or the game existed till I played Samsara a while back.

I only knew of its existence thanks to a love of the Halo series. Like I said before though Unreal is going to be the real challenge for me... Especially as I seem completely unable to get 3D models to work at all!!Suicide Slim wrote:

BFG working EXACTLY like normal BFG, but traces being visible as railgun traces/something similar. I can imagine this being handy for training reasons.
Shared keys will now be in Zandro! Thanks devs for their work, and users for the support!

Wow thanks Ijon. The opening score of the beginning game reminds me so much of Aliens. Not having free saving certainly puts an edge of pressure too. Crazy to think this was how Bungie got their start. I'll never see the opening of Halo ever the same again, not realizing Bungie recycled the whole "aliens attack your ship and you're getting overrun" FPS thing.

Port Lasting Light mod to Zandronum? it is actually incompatible due to lack of certain features D:

Don't remember any significant zdoom-only function that cannot be replicated in zan 2.0 with a large enough pile of hacks.
The other problem is that Lasting Light is not exactly multiplayer-oriented as a general idea and to make it work we'll probably have to rewrite all the logic anyway.

I was actually thinking about opening up a thread called "Uncle HexaDoken's ZDoom-To-Zan mod conversions". There are tons of promising projects out there that are made zdoom-only, and I seem to be rather adept at converting things from more capable engines to less capable ones.Untitled wrote: you're doing both REEL and overkill?

Would love to see a Warhammer 30 or 40k. Lots of potential there with so many unit types. I know Games Workshop is really hard on modmakers though...
How about a Schwarzenegger wad? Player characters are any of Arnold's characters like John Matrix, Ben Richards, Quaid, Dutch, etc. Include one-liners, some baddies like the Predator, Benett, T-800's.

I'm actually looking for two different things. I'm in a clan that started out on steam that I wish for it to spread to different areas and the first being here. I'm looking for someone who could host a server daily for my clan The Frag Nation & the second being a little map pack for Brutal Doom. I'd like the maps to have something in relative to our clan like a logo or just our clan tag. For example: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f ... =258647868 Nothing serious or too hard designed just 4-6 arena inspired deathmatch maps with fair map design and weapon layout. That of say a quake or UT type of map designs. Thanks, and NukeM out!

Not really the place to ask that but, if you want a server hosted you can just use Best-Ever to do so.
