By saving the image and then importing it into a wad for whatever use... (also might need to rescale some stuff if needed)

I still think these monsters need to be done more quickly in wad form, please hurry though, because I can't wait to try it out, and I had no time for patience at all.

We still need a complete set of sprites (instead of just the the A frame, and plus all the rotations) before we can use these.

I shudder to think what kind of insane attacks the winged Pyrodemon would get, though.

Well, considering that using wings for actual flight would need additional 289752876 sprites.... I think they will be there just as a decoration :P

Not really. Just 4 more frames (feet hanging still, wings flapping). Assuming you have 5 rotations for each frame, that's just 20 more sprites. Which will look badass ingame if you make use of +FLOATBOB.

TBH you could probably just use his normal attack frames while in midair and get away with it. As long as you're using +FLOATBOB i'm sure it would look believable.

And why does he even need a taking off/landing sequence? :p You can just do that by looping his flying animation while making him slowly rise/fall in the same spot via ThrustThingZ. Some dramatic sounds would be cool too.

And regarding "dying in air", just hold 1 frame until he hits the ground, whereby he enters his Crash state (which will just be his normal Death). Unless you actually want unique in-air death sprites, which would only require small edits of the original death sprites ...

You're acting like this is some immense task, when in reality I'm sure any talented spriter like Agaures or Bloax would have no problem churning this out in like one afternoon.

No one said it isn't fun.. It just goes like "Oooh I made the best archvile" and then "omg I forgot this monster has too many damn frames and I needed 45 minutes on just one".. Why do you think cacos and imps have more types than archviles and cybers -Cyber has some but meh I have yet to see a spectacular one that doesnt have only 1 frame done" and any mistake will be so glaringly visible you usually must restarb -Most annoying thing about adding stuff from scratch then shade them-.. Might as well learn 3D in that time and make a small animation -Or more hats on steam-
