Hey everyone, DMR is about to be uploaded to idgames. At the moment, all the maps are looking very good, but the mapset needs to be rearranged for the purpose of a good flow.
It is a very simple process. All I have to do is rename the map lumps and update the MAPINFO in XWE. It won't take long to do. But before I do so, I just want to get an idea from you guys on which maps need/don't need to be moved.

If you were to make a list and reorder them yourself, how would you do it?
The mapset needs to have a flow to it, based on theme & size.

So today I created a list that rearranged the maps based on theme/size:

I also replaced three midis from MAP03 (The Courtyard), MAP04 (Gothic Halls) & MAP09 (Generic UAC Base).

Hey DG, when this makes it's way onto /idgames, drop me a line - I'd be happy to advertise it around and start up a new "release party" thread and whatnot, complete with screenshots, reccomended DMflags, credits/info and other various stuff. I'm so glad it's finally almost a public release!

@one_Two: Joe Pallai, way back before he stepped down, highly recommended to make the support 3 beams widened just a little bit. I added two DM player spawns because there weren't enough for 8 players and occasional tela-fragging occurred. I wanted to make sure every map had at least 8 DM player spawns. The midi was from Doomkid's latest build when he resigned from management, so I didn't touch that. Do you have a copy of the midi "The Prodigy-You'll be under my wheels"? I can replace it if you want. Other than those things, everything else from your map was untouched.

I changed the midi back to the one you wanted. Maybe Doomkid added the beams in his DMR version 9a? They were there when I started management.

Update: DMR_2014.zip has been submitted to the /idgames archives. It is currently in the incoming folder.

I also submitted the file to Bob Larkin of doomwadstation.net and he is currently checking it out.

I managed to get at least 7 people on the Zdaemon DMR server today. I recorded a little duel of my Gothic Halls map between me and another doomer. The gameplay is pretty swell
