I experimented with the TEXTCOLO lump quite a while ago to replace some of the standard ones because i didn't like some of the standard colours, and i have used them ever since.
Download if you guys want it.

Guess that is sorta relevant...but would be better in it's own topic... probably skins actually because they can be used in the skin folder!

Wow, there is really no reason this should not just be added to the Zandronum core files, IMO. Very well done. I would just recommend taking out the rainbow one because it hurts the eyes and trollers will have a hayday with it.

Zandronum has \co, so i dont think it will change alot. Even then, people dont use that either.

Say, is there a way to select these in Message Options, or assign them to message types (chat, obituary, critical, etc.) through other means?

But. But. It's been my name color ever since NewTextColours came out. D:
Honestly if you have that much issue with it, edit it out of
your PK3. Then you'll never have to see it again. :p

Besides I've only seen people use it for names- and not that often!
Glad people can find creative uses for them- as for using them in the engine? Not sure...I've looked through the INI files from ZD and I don't think it can be done as it doesn't pick colour codes the same way you would write them... =/

Thanks for some of the new text colours - some of the enemies from samsaraHold have special coloured obituaries, to let you know exactly what just killed you.
Die to a Pyrodemon?
Have an EXPLOSION [G5] coloured obituary.

There is a bug when using the new colours on a name over 10 characters but the old colours do not and now i am stuck to the old colours help

What is the bug? New colors occupy 5 characters in your name, while stock colors only take 2.

I think you just refer to the character limit. I guess you used to many color codes, which count towards the name character's limit.

Would a GBA Doom text be too ugly? Nearly solid red with a white border. (Default red would probably look better)
And here are the GBA Doom II texts, for the record. 'Far as I can tell, left is the same as default red (slightly darker, perhaps), and Ruby Ore covers the right quite nicely already!
