SWAR: The Spontaneous WAR.

A simple Doom mod: where each player is assigned the same two weapons for the entire round, randomly. The philosophy is that with everyone having the same weapons, each player must succeed on skill & marksmanship alone. This eliminates the traditional resource domination model of deathmatching.

All players are assigned one of four sets of weapons. Each set contains two weapons: one to compensate for the other's shortcomings. Since the player can switch between the two very quickly, they should use this to gain an advantage in the heat of battle.

Note: this is a very early alpha. Some features may not work correctly... or at all. Most maps are incomplete. The power and selection of weapons is subject to change.

WEAPONS SETS. Primary weapon + Secondary Weapon (and at which range those weapons are most effective):

Set 1: Super Shotgun (short range) + Glock (long range)
Set 2: Rocket Launcher (mid range) + Glock (long range)
Set 3: Plasma Rifle (mid range) + Rail pistol (long range)
Set 4: Rail Gun (long range) + Super Shotgun (short range)

MELEE WEAPON (ALL Sets): Chainsaw.

Each weapon has fast switching enabled. This streamlines combat by allowing players to switch weapons more rapidly.

Weapon descriptions:
- Glock: Modified pistol. Fires at a much higher rate than the pistol, but does the same damage. This allows players to damage others from a distance more effectively.
- Rail Pistol: Fires a lower-powered, non-piercing rail at a much higher rate than the railgun. This is a good long-distance weapon to complement the plasma rifle.
- Rail Gun: Based on skulltag railgun, modified to deal the exact same damage with each shot. An unarmed player should be able to survive 2 shots from this railgun.
Spoiler: Cyberia Map Pack (Open)
This map pack is not-so-subtly inspired by Cybercrime3.wad. It's placed in the same universe as PATHOGEN--a desperate future where pollution has ruined the planet and its inhabitants are forced to skirmish for resources.

The map pack is very incomplete. Most maps aren't textured. The only one that's done is MAP01: Cyberia. The other 2 need serious texturing. There's 2 more that are not accessible in the regular map rotation... since they aren't very playable.

TODO:
- Figure out a way to effectively restrict & refill ammo without making map customization a pain in the ass (a previous method of mine included placing spawn spots for EACH type of ammo).
- Health bonus for chainsaw "humiliation"
- Possibly implement other methods of weapon selection (like voting)
