I have tried to divide the doom armor into four parts: Helmet , Chest Armor , Gloves and Boots.
This is what I came up with. All the sprites were done by screenshotting/stretching various items from Diablo I and Diablo II.
This wad allows the player to wear a mixture of different armor parts
( 9 types of Chest armor, 0 types of Helmet, 5 types of Gloves and 5 types of Boots ). So far the items only provide damage reduction (damagefactor) but I plan to make the gloves increase attack speed and boots to increase movement speed.
This will need some work still, such as a script that would give the player the damage reduction whenever he enters a new map, but that can wait for now.

I think this could be a nice feature for Medieval RPG mods.

ooh that looks really nice.
Do you mind if I take your ACS for my mod? With credits off course.

Feel free to use anything I ever made anywhere, but...this wad does not use any ACS. All is pure DECORATE and special font.

Fantastic! This can be added to many game modes. just use your imagination!
Is there any way to drop the clothes back to the ground to pick a different one? or simply combine them together like vanilla when you pick it up?

I thought I have put a huge object that serves as a tutorial in that map I made as an example. Well in case I forgot - there is a way how to drop, yes. The player starts with several special items that drop whatever he carries atm. This is again pure DECORATE and in case there is a mod that already uses a custom player class, then that mod would require a special ACS and a key bind that would start the dropping, since the items are given to the player by "player.startitem". There is one tricky part about it: The "armor, helmet, boots, gloves" work like powerprotection, so if you pick some normal armor while carrying those, the damage reduction would be terribly overpowered.
