[WIP] Hell Awaits

Hell Awaits is a new Singleplayer/Co-op wad with new maps and a new interesting story line. The goal of this wad is to release a new multiplayer co-op wad which cuts back on custom textures, monsters, weapons, and other lumps. I always enjoyed wads that used more vanilla doom style co-ops then new school style co-ops.

I have decided that once I get finished with the first 3 maps I will release a sorta demo/trial version to beta test it and spread the wad around

The Story: Due to the recent threats by the North Korean government, the United States had no choice other than to keep a close eye on North korea. After months of spying, satellites have shown that North Korea transformed one of its nuclear power plants into a nuclear warhead warehouse and launch pad! Moments before launch of Korea's most powerful nuke, America air drops a small squad of there most trained and experienced special forces, the Navy Seals, into the Air Delivery sector of the North Korean nuclear facility. During launch of the nuke the SEAL's have no othe choice but to sacrifice themselves. The nuke detonates completely wiping North Korea of the map of the world. At home in the US there is cheers and applause, In North Korea there is nothing but ruin, and where the SEALs reside is nothing but a warm welcome at the gates of hell.

Currently working on the map is me and some of my clans members.

This wad (although mainly sticking to vanilla doom style format) will feature new weapons, New monsters, and new music.

Well wait screenshots although 2 maps where only 1 is complete is a bit low to announce project I think..
Also the features of this wad contradicts the goal you mentioned on 2nd line :P

I know it seems like a kid whipped up this topic xD I had an hour till work so I made it short and sweet (perhaps more sour). I am going for a Shogun Trogun /Destination Uknown type of co-op wad except less custom textures, monsters, and weapons. Btw shitty screenies up :P
