Because there's no way to distinguish between them until after they're queried (their type is determined by what master reports the server). A plugin architecture means it's not the easiest job to switch after a query is finished. Besdies, I would recommend uninstalling the Skulltag plugin. Most, if not all, of the servers should be switching over soon anyways.

Zandronum 1.0 will not run. I've set paths to the binary in Doomseeker's Engine preferences and tried to play with both the bundled and my previous version of Doomseeker (an older 0.9 beta, which is supposedly the same version, r389), but it doesn't even appear on the dock. Placing doom2.wad in my Zandronum 1.0 folder and running the app directly produces the same results.

No icon appears, no crash report.

Opened a ticket on the bug tracker.

EDIT: On a slightly less frustrating note, do we have a Wiki yet?

Yes, it's in the navigation bar on the front page.

Thanks. But I see no wiki links on the main page. :(

Since it's a Mac issue, Blzut will have to look into that. So keep an eye on your tracker ticket.

There.

The first polished version of the pill of Zandronum.

Image

Now with some news features:

- Make you over fap.
- Token 2: It will make you see ponies OR cacodemons around.
- You might as well have to fight against megamen.
- pipes will look like double barreled.
- Not recommended if you got flu.

For everything else, ask your doctor if Zandronum is right for you.

I use the Doomseeker version bundled with Windows installer without Skulltag plugin (apparently or why I even ask?).

Yay! Congrats on the first official release. This release should be interesting to try out. The player blocking/spawning stuff alone is inspiring me to make more quirky Doom gameplay modes. I assume I'm still cool to bundle this with the next MM8BDM (when it's ready)? I'll have to modify the launcher and teach the masses how to say "Zandronum" but I'd rather not keep using the dusty alpha versions anymore. Hopefully by doing this it helps people come to realize there's more to this port than just MM8BDM too.
