Did you get permission from the various authors to do this?

I dunno. By watching the first 30 seconds of the video, it appears you're actually making doom worse than making it better. Just my opinion though.

All it is (I think; download broken) is an archive full of skins and an addon that assigns them to bots. While it wouldn't be nice to go against the authors' wishes, I don't see how making an issue of it would make a difference, especially since he could put links to the skins themselves in the thread.

Bots are pointless in their current state. They're only useful for testing mods.

Yet for some reason, there's always one "brutal doom DM" server up at any given time, with 4 bots in it. Nobody ever joins it. Because there's bots in it.

No one has ever once, in the history of history, joined a server with a bot in it. Bots are so annoying..

I like the idea of one lone bot spawning in a DM server until a second human joins, though. Some target practice while you wait.

IIRC ZDaemon has this feature ("temporary bots"), but I wouldn't support its implementation in Zandronum because every host will just abuse it to bump their servers to the top of the list.

That doesn't actually work because IDE doesn't consider bots when sorting by playercount (if that's not the default setting in both IDE and Doomseeker, then it should be soon).

And Doomseeker has the ability to ignore bots as well.

Oops. It must not be on by default then.

How do I enable this behavior?

In IDE it's in the Options tab, Appearance & Functionality, check "Don't sort servers with only bots."

I've never used Doomseeker, but it appears to be Options > Configure > Appearance > Bots are not Players.
