As seen here. This is the sign-up thread for a Samsara Team last man standing tournament.

Rules

• Ragnarok DM as mappack
• 10 minute timelimit
• Hp/Armor set to 300 / 300
• No Ultimates
• Uniques Enabled
• 1 ban per team
• No duplicate classes in any round
• You may trade classes with a teammate
• Substitutes are allowed if both teams agree to it
• Whichever team wins two rounds in a row is the winner
• The same team cannot have first pick two rounds in a row
• Demos or videos must be submitted by one member of each team
• Games must only be played on the best-ever server we will host
• You must re-pick classes after every round
• The method of picking classes must be followed as instructed below

How to pick classes
Each team will take turns picking a class. The team with first pick will go first. Once the round has ended, first pick goes to the other team.

Banning works the same way, the team who gets first pick also gets first ban and vice versa.

And remember, there can only be one character per round, so team 1 and team 2 cannot both have doomguy.

I have added a new rule regarding teamdamage. Also the server is up. The server is called "Samsara 3v3 TeamLMS Tournament Server" on best-ever. There is no connect password, but there is a join password. Spectator chat is disabled.

If you have not already, please add #samsara to an auto-join channel and PM me or terminusest13 for the password.

We had a test server with it. Only 2v1, and keep in mind that with 3v3 it'll only become more chaotic.

In the very first match, I accidentally fragged my teammate with a SPNKR blast.
In another match, I played Parias and kept getting in my ally's line of fire because I was trying to melee and he ended up shooting me as well.
In another match, I was Duke and took him (a Parias) by surprise and got a hammer to the face, taking off 100 health and armor.
And that's not even getting into how easy it'd be to nuke your allies with Ranger's multi-rockets or multi-grenades, or Corvus' bombs.

While it might increase the need for tactics if you have a way to instantly identify where your ally is and what he's doing (perhaps by way of Mumble/Teamspeak), for casual and fun play with buddies (which this tournament is aiming for) I think this is nothing but a downside.

In the end, though, it's Catastrophe's tournament and he has the final say in everything, but I'm just saiyan.

Ooh, sounds entertaining, I'd wanna watch this (if I get the time).

Withdrawing the teamdamage rule as some players feel this causes the tournament to be biased against casual players.
