Zandronum

So here we go again, with Liam as Galactus is inactive. So this time, instead of playing a BO1 game on a single map, it's a BO3 !

But how will the BO3 work Simple!

There are five maps, namely :

• Judas
• SSL2
• Class 219
• Lazarus Map04
• Oblivx

So, if A plays B, A and B eliminate one map each leaving a BO3 to be played. However, the higher pinger picks the first map to be played in the BO3 out of the remaining ones.

RULES

• Fraglimit : First to 40
• Server : Preferably GV, FC+, or baseQ,, however anything else WITH THE SAME OLDSCHOOL DUEL FLAGS if the parties arrive on a consensus.
  EDIT : Slight preference is given to euros, however incase Americans do sign up it'd be nice to split the BO3 in different servers, but please play on euro if requested
• Proof : Where are your proofs ?!?!?!? Screenies and demos need to be posted. If not possible, please contact Liam or me.

I sadly can not join, as I am not able to play too late in danish time, which means that people in later time zones have to be on unusually early, which would make complications. (I suck anyway, so doesn't matter I suppose :P)

What's seeding?

A Seeded Tournament is usually ran during events such as Baseball, Football, and Wrestling. A Seeded tournament is organized in a way that the players are ranked based on previous results or experience. The match-ups are based on how well a team did during the season or league, and sometimes based on skill level or experience. The end of season playoffs in all pro sports use the seeded format. These tournaments can be either single elimination or double elimination.

@Lollipop, Ehh, I myself am from India, but most of the players are euros, so there's nothing problematic with time zones so far. Anyone is welcome to sign up, you too!

What Liam and I had planned to do was, first make the blind draw and then make fine adjustments to it from the result generated.

That would suck imo. Just do a seeding bracket, make 2 groups and put the strongest players that you consider in group 1 and the rest in the second group (make sure to have the same number of players in the groups)

Assign to each player a number.

Let's say: 1- Liam 2- Karakurt 3- Capo 4- Ammar [...] until 16.

Into quantité (quantity) put 8, into the second box put 9, and 16 into the last.

The 9 means that the randomizer will avoid randomizing a number that's among the first 8 with another number. Thus, this will prevent a group 1 player from confronting a player of the same group in the first round.

So, the 8 randomized numbers are written down as you can see in that image, now we got the numbers it's easy to define who's gonna play who. 1-10, 2-14, 3-13, 4-12, etc. like this:

I would love to play and I would be sure to get my games (I suck so hard it would prolly only be one, but whatever :P), the problem is that my playing time will probably get in the way, forcing me to pull if I get to play someone too far from my own time :\
I also do not know if I will have the time on my hands actually, I got my schedule tucked up in the weekends and the other days I start late and end soon, which is quite narrow for entering a tournament (my mom is in charge of my playing time, I still live at home)

In the future I might be able to play a game when I establish my own life, but for now all I can do is wish good luck to you, your tourney and it's amazing players!
