First thing, I would like to thank those who signed up to the tournament.
I hope everything goes well and that the rules have were understood, if it is not the case for those yet feel free to ask me! Thanks.

The league has begun, please contact your opponent asap and schedule your games!

Some advices:

1. Everyone must have an agreement on a date with your weekly opponent to plan your match. Once done, it is recommanded to let me or Nati know 24 hours in advance!

2. All participants must be sitting on our channel #ztdm.

3. To know on which server(s) you will have your games on just go to our website, Schedule, click on your planned games and read below.

Seeing D5M1 used as a TDM map makes me cringe.

It is perfect, you should get used to it!

actually the whole d5 wad was originally conceived as deathmatch with 4 players, the fact that maps like d5m1 and d5m7 have then been used for duels as well is another story.

Yes it was. Back in 1995. On a dial-up network with a competitive scene absolutely nothing like it is today and has been in the modern years. Regardless of what it was originally made for nearly two decades ago, it has since become a (if not the) staple duel map of the modern community and has been viewed as such by anyone with a worthy opinion.

That being said, I just dislike seeing it used that way. :(

I personally dislike D5M1 for duels and I rarely play it, I don't really like its layout. Nevertheless it has a pretty good gameplay when it comes to 2v2 TDM and besides, the author of TDMAX is the one who inserted it into his pack, we're just using it

So...you like it as a 2v2 map, but not as a 1v1 map? What is this blasphemy?!
