Sun Up to Sun Down Challenge

You heard me. It's going to be the same place as last time. According to my calculations this is going to take at least 12 hours, so I'm going to call it the sun up to sun down challenge.
Best part is it's going down soon. And it's you and me again Yellowtail. I want it before the end of this month. I work Monday so that's out, but hell if I come back before noon on Monday why the hell don't we do it then? I suggest you eat and sleep accordingly, if you thought 2500 was punishment, this is going to be insane.
As per usual there's 5 minute breaks allotted at the 1000 frag marks and that alone. Let's just hope neither of us times out during the match! If we do hell we'll reschedule and try again until this bad boy's done!
And don't worry, I have something even worse planned for Valentine's day. Ha. Ha. Haaah. We'll call that the heartbreaker 24 hour fragathon! So you down brother? :) Or am I just going absolutely mentally insane?
So dust off your SSG, take a few medikits, and let's get fraggin'!

Heavy going, don't die of exhaustion. Will this be on shoot? cos that would be kinda boring.

one_two: Except shoot takes the fastest compared to anything else.
Decay: Eh, if you think this is bad... you might be kidding yourself.

Seriously. Keep your phones on your desks in case of any sort of serious medical problems. There's a lot caused by pulling things exactly like this.
Take measures to keep blood flow and mobility, and to prevent deep vein thrombosis, carpal tunnel, improper posture, repetitive strain injuries, etc.
I've seen shit. One dude rolled in the doors with stage II pressure ulcers on his ass from sitting at his Xbox too much. Looking around the net, I've found guys who've died after as little as 12 hours of continuous gaming.

Sounds like the 7500-Frags duel.. since your 2500 one was like 220 minutes or so :P

According to the math, if we go for exactly 12 hours, it'll be ~8250 frags (If you want to be specific, it'll be almost 8257), but my internet connection is so shaky it's not even funny, so I doubt we'll get that far. 6 hours is more likely, though. However, this is if we go at the speed we were going, which is ~11.4679 frags per minute.

People have suffered injury from marathon gaming, just saying.

It should take upwards to 14 hours, nothing too bad if you know what you're doing.
However, as I have said, my internet is really shaky. I mean, I just lost connection again within the past minute of this post.

Of course you can't pick a better map because that's the only one besides D2M1 you can do.

Alright then, you take me on on the map of your choice in the server of your choice with the frag limit of your choice.
Up to you.
Back on topic it's definitely going to be shoot again. I did some thinking about the other maps and if we do any other map it would take far longer, common sense. Plus the intensity ensures you can't camp or take small rests, always going to be some action.

Styx would be better, can't really rest on that map.

I would assume since you have a lot of time you could do another map other than shoot, it isn't great and definitely there are other maps that people would probably watch for longer periods of time (Styx, Greenwar, D5M7, Judas among other ones). Heck if you want to even just have a circle might as well do Dwango5Map18, it's just shoot but bigger w/ sg's and rl's and a better midi.

How would it take longer if you got yourself a time limit instead of frag limit? Would it suddenly change into 24h challenge? :|

Good luck with this, I think that will set a record if I'm not mistaken for 14 hours or so.

Hell yeah. Thanks Water. We'll do our very best out there.
[I'd like to point out this is the ideal way to encourage people]
Anyways confirmed with me, starts whenever I get home tomorrow which should be after noon. Let's hope no one times out or bummer dude. D:
Oh and sorry Wirt, we didn't make it clear. This is a 10000 frag match and we calculated based on the 220 minutes that the previous 2500 on shoot took between us it would take 12~14ish hours. My b mate.
Raz I'm highly inclined to agree with you on that but I don't know how quickly we'd be able to hit 10000 frags on any other map. Call us cheap and lazy we're going for the easiest 10k we can. But yeah sure some other time we might do that on J00daz or GWar would be a good idea.
