Ok so basically because Nati and Tor can't seem to play each other, they both play me twice and whoever keeps me to lowest frags wins.

I first played Tor, he kept me to 50 frags over 2 games (fl 40). So for Nati to reach the final you gotta keep me to 49 frags or less.

Taking this as a DCvsPRO duel clanwar would've been more legit... much more!

We're on different sides on the world and that means either of us have to stay on extreme hours to get games going (I am pretty free nowadays but I guess Tor is too busy), so this became a viable solution.

Even the IDL (with the keyword international) was an American tourney with American times.

If its euro, then Tor is responsible for getting up early to play you. If it's an american tourney, then you need to meet Tor's schedule. The way One_Two did it is horrible as hell and should never ever ever ever ever be done like that. This is why people say "... only on zandronum".

It should be a forfeit based on whoever showed up the least.

You just can't do this kind of thing in a tournament. Unless doom is truly this dead...

This tournament is not even close to being as big as the IDL, and being a duel tourney requiring only two poeple instead of six, does not usually require such predefined times.
This was not defined as american/euro because the organiser believed that both parties are equally responsible to scheduling their games and that no side should be solely held responsible over it unless they are the ones who usually do not show up without a good reason.
I'm on GMT+2 atm and he is 7 or 8 hours behind me, yet I couldn't usually see him on until it was midnight for me (when I was too tired to play properly). Both of us did not bother enough to schedule a time and day which is both our faults. Since this continued for months, one_two wanted to finally end it and offered a solution which, while being rather unprofessional, was compulsory seeing that this was getting nowhere.

And as you said, the IDL tourney is composed of mostly americans and has never really cater for the international playerbase; even its servers are located in central US which caters to the NA majority. A small duel tourney like this however is not done in the same level of professionalism as the IDL thus doesn't really have such strictness.
