Nah, If everyone else wanna have the duel part then I won't mind, on the other hand a clanwar doesnt really need duels in my opinion, TDM and CTF are good enough for measuring general team power. But If you want to go as in the tradition then I won't complain

One small request I have for the games tomorrow is that everyone goes by the usual alias that they are known by. In the past there has been a lot of drama due to the fact that some clans have used aliasers in clan wars to gain a sort of advantage.

Small update, Tenchu wasn't around tonight for the clanwar and since he organised it, and it being pointless to have this without the guy who wanted this to happen, we have decided to postpone this to a later date (until he's around).

Instead we have had 2 normal scrims with the EG in the last couple of days which were fun, so we now have an idea on what to expect. I would post screenshots but i don't want to damage any egos.

Hi I am LF and I'm going trash talk with all my members... but when it comes to the actual matches I have more demands than members. Clan War but it can only be CTF because "Duels are boring". LF going to post it as a NJ required war BUT because 3/4 of their players are euro now suddenly you need it half NJ and half GV. I bet if we go to GV you will even demand Denzoa is not allowed to play. Oh and EG cannot play with our secondary nicknames because it gives us an advantage? WTF if my name is BroogPult my skill level goes +1000 HAHAHAHA.

My comment was just a joke. We will happily duel and TDM if you guys want to. It's not that we have any motive to evade this.
We never said den couldn't play,tbh I'm surprised he's still in the clan but idc really. We will just play in servers where he is not banned. And yes since as of now the most active part of LF is the euro one we will have to do it half gv and half BE.
The aliasing thing was because we lost track to who is who, we can't remember it, and we don't want anything to slip by, we wanna know who we are playing. It's not just you, multiple times I have seen EG raiding a CTF server with aliases and I couldnt tell which one is who and we don't want this.
Changing a name takes just a few seconds, I am sure you can bother to do that.

Err have you read the opening topic, or the rules for that matter? It's clearly stated that NJ or GV is to be used. I guess you either reread the opening post or go back to 1st grade. Either way we still smashed you on your home servers in the game we played earlier, so meh.

You're still a shit player with whatever nickname you use. The reason I requested this rule was because, to put it bluntly, you're hardly a trustworthy bunch of players. Please don't automatically associate that attitude with our entire clan, because most of us aren't actually doing that if you'd open your eyes. I've known Ichi for a long time, and EG was a big part of LF's earlier days so I have nothing but respect for the clan.

Again, only one person said that, and Nati has since clarified that he was joking anyway. I issued this challenge with the intent to make it a grand spectacle of the gamemode that has become standard in competitive team-play Dooming, which is why I wanted to put both clans to the test in the gamemode that we're all already used to and practiced on, to give us a truly accurate representation of each clans skill. But if EG *really* wants to push TDM and Duels as well, have Ichi contact me directly if he wishes to set that up.

Um, no. It was NJ and GV from the very start, and that's proven by there being no "last edited on" notification underneath the post. And that was just suggested, as 99% of games are played on those servers. If other servers are requested, we can discuss that when the time comes.

No, actually, I would prefer you to use Danzoa as he is one of your best members. I know he can't play on NJ because of AlexMax, but if he's there when this happens, again, we can discuss server options when the time comes.

Again, just because Swift went off the deep end with the shittalk doesn't mean that's the attitude of our entire clan. LF and EG have already scrimmed regularly multiple times since this challenge with no problems. As I said in the OP, this is a FRIENDLY war. You posting shit like this just makes it worse.

JZ was already in contention for joining before this challenge was posted, but there's no way to prove that without posting private logs (which I don't really want to do), so if it's really an issue, have Ichi contact me and him and I can discuss it.

On that note, I'd like to apologize to EG for the wait. I've personally been getting fucked into working a lot lately with my store being severely understaffed, and our core team rarely seems to be on at the same time, unlike most clans.. but I'll try and get a definite date scheduled in the next week or so and let you guys know so we can finally get this thing done!
