Zandronum

I decided to create a new clan for competitive Doom 2.

This clan was shut down on April 1st, 2019 but I'll keep the player roster and additional info here for historical purposes.

Name of Clan
[RG] - Royal Guard is the name that I've been using whenever I create teams in leagues and other events so I thought it would make sense to use the same name for this clan.

How To Join
This clan is mainly for CTF but I'm interested in other PvP game modes like TDM, Skulltag, QC:DE, etc. If you're not in a clan yet (most clans don't allow multi-clanning, see clan objective for more info about this) and you'd like to play Doom more competitively and get into clan scrims then feel free to ask about joining this clan.

Clan Objective
Unlike *GOD* which is strictly for DoomWare, this clan is for game modes that are played more commonly at a competitive level. *GOD* is still open for recruitment and if a member of *GOD* decides to get into competitive Doom I don't see why other clans shouldn't feel free to recruit them.

I can imagine why clan members scrimmaging against a clan they're already in can cause problem. This means that allowing [RG] members to join other competitive clans and vice versa is most likely going to be a big no-no. Allowing [RG] members to join non-competitive clans and vice versa is most likely going to be another story. I'd imagine this will have to be dealt with more on a case-by-case basis.

Even though Capodecima is banned from Zandronum, I'm open to the possibiliy of expanding the Royal Guard to multiple ports.

Capo is a pariah in Doom multiplayer for a bunch of reason Asriel, amongst them DDoSing. I would advise against harboring people like him.

Where does this clan fight at exactly? I've seen Asriel play in Megaman and wanted to know.

I've seen him around FNF if it makes any difference

I don't really play Megaman that much especially since they got rid of the railgun.

I mostly play any PvP mode that's not Megaman, Ghouls vs. Humans, or Who Dun It. This doesn't mean that I don't play them at all it's just that I don't play them as much as game modes with more familiar FPS game play.

Hiimaura, also known as Aura from what I've heard, is the creator of the of the Alphatius mod and Seidolon is their friend. Hiimaura occasionally plays private Doom 2 CTF.

Black, also known as Blackdahlia if I'm not mistaken, appears to be from ZDaemon and will occasionally play on Zandronum Doom 2 duel servers.

Capodecima is banned from Zandronum but since I'm open to the possibility of expanding [RG] into other ports (like Odamex where Capodecima isn't banned), Capodecima being banned from Zandronum shouldn't be a problem for me.

Emann mostly plays on Doom 2 duel and private CTF servers.

The railgun was only removed in CBM. Patch's Darkman3 still uses a railgun.
