If none of your members duel or play pub CTF you are likely in for a rude awakening when playing competitive CTF. Only saying this so you are informed about what you're getting into. If you don't mind getting beaten 24/7, you should be fine.

If the above sounds discouraging, just stick to ZH. You'll endure way less drama. This way if you go ahead with it and get upset I can say 'told ya so'.

Water does have a point although as you guys are new to the scene it is expected, most higher-tier competitive clans consist of people who have been playing for years, often over half a decade. If you're commited and openminded enough you will be able to gain pretty decent skill within a year or even less. For now just enjoy experimenting and learning, if any of you want to train their duel skills I'm on IRC often as "Nati".

I don't know how you got a troll out of by post, that's a gross misinterpretation on your part.
Though the discouragement part is true though, because it takes playing every day and a true desire to get better at CTF or else you'll just recycle at the bottom and never get better.

I'm just trying to let you know as an insider that you are wasting your time most likely unless ALL your members are on IRC going "HEY LETS PLAY CTF... NOW!", because if not -- unless you like losing -- you could do many more efficient things in your life then waste time getting good at competitive when it's not even really active anymore and the only people are leagues above where you are in the sense of having played for years and years.


I feel like you deserve the truth and know what you're getting into. If you misinterpret this as troll post then enjoy your bumpy ride.

/msg chanserv help

/msg chanserv register #vo (can only be done if you are registered to zandronum's irc because it needs a founder account)

if you are not registered then use /msg nickserv register (password) (e-mail)

make the channel then use /msg chanserv flags #(channel name) (another user's name who is registered) +Oo to op them and automatically have chanserv op them
