What happened with round 1 anyways? I was gone for the weekend when it was suppose to happen, and it didn't

I bought a store OEM model just so it's an up to date PC; however, it ran on windows 10 which didn't even let me name myself administrator during installation. So while downloading windows 7 I researched that said pc had a powersupply lifespan of 2 weeks. I wasn't up for that so I returned it.

You should go intel for CPU. AMD is not worth the bang for the buck unless it's a Ryzen.

Likewise, you'll want to get a motherboard that supports an Intel CPU.

The graphics card is OK if you're getting the 1050ti. Though this part is the most important for a PC build so I'd suggest concentrating the majority of your funds towards this.

I've seen some of the UFO benchmarks now that I looked around a bit more, but this PC will hold me down until I build another. That time I will future proof it. I was thinking intel i7 as well when this list was put together.

Ah for a temporary build it should be fine if you swap to an intel CPU. Though don't get allured by the i7, you can go for an i5 and get more than your moneys worth. Just search up google on i5 vs i7 and it should be clear enough. From my view there's no point in an i7 unless you're playing very CPU heavy games; and these days there's not that many.
