The Unix Mob is a serious yet informal clan; We're not about rules and all, but common sense is respected. L1t and I are the owners, and we have a new channel on irc; #UNIX. Members as of this post:

We are both developmental and competitive, but specialize in neither. We play what we want to play, but we do it as a clan.

If someone wants to join we need a demonstration of what they could bring to the clan; challenges will be tailored to the individual.

Members must not do things that reflect poorly on us as a clan.

I'm also a *nix user, so yeah. But I don't think it's necessary to base an entire clan upon the fact that you use Unix though. I mean i'm willing to bet that a good 25% of Zandronumers use a common distro like Ubuntu, Fedora, or Debian.

Yes we think *nix is necessary to have as a clan tag. I have based and devoted my free time and life in general towards *nix including my job. Mostly everything I do is related to FOSS both on the internet and AFK so I must ask you why not have it as a doom clan as well? :)
We use mumble because teamspeak is closed source slaveware. I like knowing the only pieces of closed software/data on my computer is the BIOS and unfortunately doom2.wad.
