I'm not trolling though. However, if you want I can be pessimistic & belittling around you - instead of my usual, encouraging optimistic side. More importantly, I don't know why the other posts where trashed, I'm pretty sure they were legitimately excited to see the HQ.

Well maybe they were trolling, but it also shows your lack of confidence in your own HQ when you believe the actual honest posts saying they enjoy other people's HQ's in general is seen as trolling.

I'm just being cautious :)

And Slyfox, the fact that I mentioned and updated the forums about the HQ obviously shows that I'm proud of my own creation. How would you dislike something you enjoyed making anyway? I loved every second I have spent on it :) I'm very confident about my mapping skills, even thought it has been my first release! The HQ is the pearl of Jormungand :)

The last I saw of the map is good, I don't think Tor was being sarcastic but the others I think were.

The internet, haven of trolls. (not meant to you, one_Two)

Still, if this Tor-person is really that excited, he should visit sometime, just like the rest of Zandronum. We open our arms to welcome each and every Zandronum-player :)

There's a bunch of stuff I made I'm not proud of, but whatever.

And the HQ doesn't look all that great from the screenshots. Not going to bother downloading it.
If you're only here to "downsize" the HQ, I kindly ask you to piss off and go shit on someone else's thread. This is my first map I have ever made. Telling me for example that I should improve this or that, or change some things would be much nicer of you.
I think you need to learn how to take criticism a little bit better whether its good or bad hmm? The map is extremely bland and I wouldn't be in the server longer than 5 minutes because there's simply nothing to do. Normally a good HQ is pretty ACS heavy and has plenty of little mini games and whatnot to play around with to keep you entertained. To be honest if i were you i would work out the actual clan affairs first before making an HQ seeing as how you only have 1 other member.
We are you. We are the madness that lurks within you all, begging to be free at every moment in your deepest animal mind. We are what you hide from in your beds every night. We are what you sedate into silence and paralysis when you go to the nocturnal haven where we cannot tread.

I recommend joining in another clan's HQ and help there, especially considering that you've barely done any mapping and probably don't know much about any of the functions. Furthermore you should view a lot of maps and get inspiration. When you finally get good at making decent maps, then consider making your own HQ.

I personally advise against making HQ's because they're a waste of time and no one plays them really on doom. You're better off to just get minecraft and make something epic you can share and let other people see on the fly.
Again, my opinion in the sense that I'd like to save you time and headaches, because learning how to properly map takes forever and you could be much more efficient with your time.

If you're gonna be a clan that does both mapping AND competition, I'd highly suggest recruiting more members and refining your playing skills first before you make an HQ/clan wad, otherwise you're probably just wasting your time.

ZandroSkins: a pack made by our community

I honestly don't know what's up with the excessive paranoia from your part. Secondly, no, it isn't the first map you made (Mithril HQ, anyone?).

Most importantly, you should take a look at popular HQs such as SMHQ, FSRHQ, or the old ZDaemon-compatible MagHQ... Heck, even Doomcenter has some very good HQ material, in my opinion. If you get more members in your clan, you could also get them to help you on making it... A HQ should be a collaborative effort between the clan members, after all.

RCHQ was the second best after SMHQ, full of jokes and interactive stuff. You might want to check it as well.

I thank everyone for their advice, yet I don't quite get what you're trying to say with "Mithril HQ", Soul. :/ I'll surely be balancing both competitive and developing side of Jormungand. Thanks! :D

I can give you some advice on ACS for your HQ, like I said, maybe I could give you a script that makes the targets go down, and make another rise.

Please keep trash talk out of this thread from here on. It's not important who Hekmatyar is, it shouldn't even be this big of a deal. The person isn't causing any problems or breaking any of the rules, enough with the bandwagons. Please and thanks.

Hello Mr. Reader-of-my-thread! If any of you people are clanless, interested in joining a clan, etc. ; Feel free to join Jormungand. We are ALWAYS recruiting, as it says in the introduction and clan-details. We would be delighted if Jormungand would grow a lot in the future. We are still willing to help other players who'd need improvement or help with anything.

Even if the clan will remain this small (*enter big sadface here*), the clan will remain alive for a really really rreaaaaaally long time (/never).

See you 'round!

After being gone for a week (sorry for not mentioning), I'm back to..err.. play Zandronum.. I guess?

Still, my hunt on clanless members (which are rare) still continues!
