after sitting on it for a while I've decided to reassess our clan memberlist and am now enacting something I'm calling "ghost membership". Essentially what I'm doing is removing all the names from our roster of players who simply just don't show up and only are included in the roster for reasons pertaining to either their long intimate relationship within spak or their involvement with either the founding or major player in the upbringing of LF. With this I am hoping to clean off the roster a bit and still respect those that came before us, and if there are anymore recruitments that fall under this category then they can be voided as an active recruit kind of like a "hall of fame" of sorts. Without further ado the members I'm moving to this hall of fame are:

Acolyte
Bless
Hydra/Redshirt
Midian
Zeero (who isn't really under any of these categories, but he's a cool dude unfortunately his social anxiety keeps him from taking part in most activities)
Zoltar

To reiterate none of these players are gone nor exactly here. They're all still here in a sense and continue to carry the LF name in spirit. In the mean time now I'm going to go back to actively seeking recruits.

That's a long way of saying "I am removing these inactive people from our list."

It's not just inactive, this is basically covering for future recruitments which are pretty much just andy going "that's an old spak guy, join our clan" and then they disappear forever after. I don't want to have recruits that want to get in, but we have to hold off because we just recruited these old names that are merely here on a fling.

I'm just curious as to the explanation. It's just a simple member purge for inactivity though it's a practice I don't truly agree with.

It's a practice that I don't agree with either, which is why I'm reversing that decision and maintaining the original roster list as it was. I understand where Shane was coming from, as he is aware that some individuals who join LF based on history rather than activity or skill may get the nod over someone who probably deserves it more from a competitive-standpoint. However, I've made it clear that no such issue will ever arise when it comes to future recruits. My clanmates are my clanmates regardless of how much they're actively playing, and I refuse to segregate them into different categories.

also real quick to clear up a misconception, although Alexmax has clan member status in our discord, he is NOT an official member of Lost Faction. This is a meme from edd that I've fixed too many times I simply gave up. However you can view Alexmax as an unofficial official moderator of the discord server.

Hello fellow Zandronum players -

We have an important announcement to make today here at Lost Faction Studios. I am extremely happy to announce that my good friend Samurai has been promoted to Co-Leader of LF!

With my extended periods of inactivity not seeming to slow down anytime soon, I've decided that it's in the best interest of the clan to bring on an additional leadership role to help oversee operations during my absences. There is absolutely no one else that I would rather have do that than my long-time friend and fellow Spakker, SwiftShot. Swift and I go way back, and I know his history with both myself and Spak will help maintain LF's core values and traditions.

After a long period of attempting to reach him, I'm sad to say Bless has fallen into a state of complete radio silence. It's sort of traditional for members who don't actively play to at least remain in close contact, as a result I'm formally removing him from the roster.
