How Community Events will be announced

#1

This forum will be used for making official threads for Community Events, such as demo threads and suggestion threads. The Portal will be used for making announcements. I am not sure if it putting polls on the portal would be a good idea or not, though.

Also, we should notify the rest of the FNF/SNS staff about the move soon so forum discussions may resume.

After that is done, it's party time.

EDIT: Also, the way this forum is set up would give us the opportunity to bring together all of the Community Events. This here, for instance, can be used for something different than, say, this or this. Recall that on the other forum, Community Events was a category not a forum.

You can make a poll in the appropriate forum, and then refer to it via a portal announcement.
Could be cleaner that way.

I don't see the harm in telling the rest of the FNF/SNS crew to resume discussion here, but it's not up to me in the end at this point.

Hmm I suggest just go ahead and tell them now, just tell them that the forum is still semi public, and to not spread it around yet,

Also maybe use the calendar to sport organization of times and events.

Go ahead. Just make sure you get them where they need to be along with everyone else.

I have begun notifying SNS and FNF Team members of the move.

Okay, this is what shall be done. The Portal will probably be used a lot, anyway.

Okay, done and done. the calendar now has some announcements for FNF and SNS. Note that I don't have enough room on the calendar to really write much, so you will have to actually click each event posted to view the event details.
