Yes.. i am new to all of this. i am SO Thankful that i can play Doom again..!! i am using Zandronum and BrutalDoomv018a. i went through all the settings and turned Auto Aim ON (Very High) in the Game Settings. And.. in the Player Settings i turned Auto Aim setting to Always. It's not working. See.. i am an old fart. i was just out of High School when Doom came out. i am use to the old controls. Don't understand the mouse-keyboard combo. i did a search on auto aim in the forum.. i didn't find anything. i am sorry if i missed any threads. i am sorry if this question has been asked a million times. i am using Windows XP Home SP3. Intel i7. Hope that helps.

Autoaim should always work unless you're playing a mod that disables it. Some mods force disable it for reasons unknown to me.

Brutaldoom does indeed disable autoaim for its weapons.

Also if I might add for future gameplay, you mentioned that you've set your autoaim level to "very high", but note that this setting gives only up to 3° of autoaim. Setting it to the next level, "always", gives 35°.
