.DEH files in servers?

Is there a way to load dehacked files (not included in the WAD) correctly in Zandronum servers? I tried to host The Sky May Be (_SMB417.WAD and BLESSED.DEH) but apparently the server didn't read the last file.
Or... Is there another way to host The Sky May Be?

In order to host a DEHACKED patch, it must be inside a wad. You can do it yourself in like 5 seconds. Just open up Slade/Slumped, and import the DEHACKED text file and make sure the lump is named "DEHACKED". Then save the wad and viola! You have your own Zandronum-compatible DEHACKED patch.

Am I allowed to edit a WAD that way and upload it to play with other people? O_O

Yeah, if you make a standalone wad that contains the .deh, and upload it to an index used by getwad anyone can play it.

AFAIK there is an easier way to load a dehacked patch: with -deh command line parameter, similarly to -file for wads.
Ex. zandronum.exe -file _SMB417.WAD -deh BLESSED.DEH
AEnima: is that your eye?

Yes but that doesn't work when hosting the wad. At least I'm pretty sure it doesn't.

Well, at least the WAD from best-ever worked. Thanks.

So.. the -deh switch is no longer vaild? I tried this myself with several old wads I had.. And well, it says Patch Installed as it should, yet I never see it on the Wad Load List. However, in the zdoom SVN's it does show, and says Patch something.deh Installed..

Were you trying -deh with .wads or did you try it with .deh or .bex patches? If you're loading a .wad with a dehacked/boom-extended patch, then you need to load that via -file
-deh is for .deh and .bex files only

I tried -deh with .deh files. There is this old wad that you can try.. Not sure if the .deh file ever gets loaded, however I did put it in a wad file.. Here is the files
Original.zip
Appearnly this is WolfenDoom, Original Missions. No clue where is the website now from where I got it. Try that .wad and .deh and see if it loads normal for you, as it does for me when i do "-file original.wad -deh original.deh"

On second thought, and sorry for Doubleposting, but I thought someone would of posted by now.. Is that original will not work in Zandro because of missing Player Sprites :/ There should be some other wads out there that have .deh files like
