You may have seen me fetch ticket info on IRC channels and provide various useful and less useful services. I'm just posting here that I'll be keeping track on the Zandronum repositories from now on. I'll be posting notes and updating tickets automatically when fixes are pushed into the repositories.
I'll be polling both zandronum and zandronum-stable repositories every 15 minutes. To catch my attention, add "fixes 1234" to the commit message. The 'fixes' can also be substituted with 'addresses' or 'resolves', in case 'fixes' does not make sense. For instance, "Fixed: GetPlayerInput did not work properly offline, fixes 1656" will tell me that the commit fixes the issue 0001656.
When a commit like this pops up, I'll do the following:
- I'll post a note containing a link to the commit, along with commit title, author and statistics
- The ticket status will be set to 'needs testing' if not already that or "greater"
- The ticket's 'assigned to' field will be set if empty. I'm using a list of email addresses to find out who's who.
- I'll also post a message on IRC to notify that the issue has been addressed by the commit
