It's informative, simple and should fit.

IMO it should explain what it is briefly. Having something like "Ask your Doctor" doesn't really sound right, especially for a game.

IMHO it doesn't have to be informative. If you actually see this string, you have already downloaded and installed Zandronum, and know what it is.

Yeah randomized messages would be silly. Stepping up the silliness would be taking the Robby O' Action news ticker from SpaceDM9 and adding a marquee effect to the randomized messages.

I don't think it would work that well, reminds me too much of Altdeath, heck there is only a single letter difference.

I think it should give some internal info, like memory used, or how much map stuff it draws at the moment of pausing.
