Zandronum

Hi, i´m VERY new to this whole multiplayer doom thing so i thougt this would be the best place to ask for help. I installed Zandronum with doomseeker. I tried to join a server that required the doom2 wad file and the brutal doom mod(i have both of these and i have used them previously on single-player) but when i tried to join the server nothing happened. I tried multiple times, i disabled my firewall but it still doesen´t work. If someone could please help with this i would be awesome. (Also sorry for any gramatical errors. English isn´t my first language)

Hey there my dude, we sure are experiencing the same problem. I kept searching for answers too, NOTHING.

Delete Brutal Doom and let Doomseeker download it from the server you're trying to connect to, you probably have a mismatched version.

We need some more details. With nothing happening, do you mean asolutely nothing, or does the game start up, and proceed not to let you join the server because of an error?
If the former, does there happen to be some sort of error, or crash? If the latter, could you screenshot what it shows (you can type screenshot in the console)?

What i meant by "nothing happens" is that i right click the server that i want, it shows a loading screen for about a second that says "checking the location and integrity of the WADS and then nothing. I do it several times and nothing happens apart from that loading screen. In case you´re wondering, i have tried it with other servers and the same happens. If it helps i´m using the doom2 and ultimate doom WADS and the latest version of brutal doom.

Maybe your game client is starting and then immediately closing. When you right click on the server there's a "Show join command line" action in the context menu. Copy it and run it from Windows's command line and see what happens.
