Hello there, I'm days trying to play in a remote server with my brother, but everytime we join the same server together we both start to get "waiting for server" messages, sometimes one of us disconnect, and sometimes the screen starts to flicker and I see his point of view instead of mine (example, I was using pistol and he was using machine gun, so suddenly the machine gun appears on my screen instead of the pistol, very weird.

But all this happens only when we both connect on a server, when alone, everything is fine.

Not sure if this is related to ipv6 or something like that, we share the same IP.

If I create a local server, we can play together, but we both on a remote server is impossible.

Update: Well, the problem seems to be gone if I use a VPN. So, I believe it's an IP conflict. I used AVG VPN and managed to play with him today, the only problem is that I'll need to pay the VPN just to play Doom lol, would love to still have a solution without VPN.

Have you tried other remote servers?

Most servers have sv_maxclientsperip set to 2.

Maybe the remote server you tried has set sv_maxclientsperip to 1 ?
