Long story short, I've got a Roland SC-55 and I'd like to work out how to get it working with Zandronum. There doesn't seem to be an option for external/physical devices in the MIDI device section, at least not under Linux.
Has anyone successfully worked around this? I'm not much of a programmer so writing another MIDI extension to route data to an ALSA port is beyond me.

Update: For anyone googling with a similar problem, I've found a workaround... run the Windows version via Wine. Not only did it work, but I was able to select from all of my devices in the menu.
