0 fps and 4000ms problem

#1

Post by DoodGuy » Fri Aug 03, 2018 5:12 pm

Hello, recently I have returned from vacation and decided to play some Doom, but there's a problem with my Zandronum
Screenshot_Doom_20180803_173332.png
GZDoom however doesnt have this problem.

My specs:
Intel i5 2450k
Intel HD 3000
4 gigs of ram

On a unrelated note on the same day some (not all) UE3 games show this error: "Your video card does not support alpha blending with floating point render targets (D3DFMT_A16B16G16R16F), which is required to run this game. Exiting…" and after that:"Untrusted system file (C:\Windows\System32\igdumd64.dll)"

Is this maybe all connected?

That is very likely a problem with your Intel GPU driver. Try "vid_fps 1" in the console.

I've tried the vid_fps 1, it doesnt work, however, whats even weirder is the fact that recent versions of gzdoom work

Has zandronum worked on a previous occasion on that machine? Have you tested different zandronum versions to see if there is a difference?
Untrusted system file sounds pretty bad. I would advise you to consult microsoft in this matter and perhaps even research what that file is.

Yes it was working before I went to vacation and no one was using my laptop. I will contact MS about the Untrusted system file.

And here I thought I was the only one with this issue. Back before 10 I was able to run gl just fine but now on 10, gl does not work. However ogl works just fine in some other games... To a point.

It sucks to be stuck to this laptop but hopefully soon I will be able to build my own pc
