KDIZD says I'm using DOOM2 as an IWAD

Knee Deep in ZDoom says I'm using DOOM2 as an IWAD, but ONLY when I start a server with it. When I play offline everything is fine, but on a server some textures inform me I'm using DOOM2 as my IWAD and no music is playing.

Fixed it.

Apparently joining through the server (file: join server) auto boots up DOOM 2.

Setting the server to also broadcast on a lan allows me to join through the doomseeker server browser which correctly loads the intended IWAD.

Hallo,

I would recommend using the Doom.wad IWAD instead of the Doom2 IWAD; the IWAD requirements are mentioned in the readme file - but also available here [ https://www.doomworld.com/idgames/level ... s/kdizd_12 ].
In addition, KDiZD doesn't really come with music out of the box. Instead, you can also include the music pack with the KDiZD play through [ https://www.doomworld.com/idgames/music/kdizdmus ].

@Tiger, He is saying that despite him trying to use doom.wad, Zandronum was forcing doom2.wad on him when he used File: Join Server.
