Multi Monitor Issue (Again)

Ok so for some reason or another zandronum is acting weird on linux.

Every time I start it up it tries to display across multiple monitors.
My work around currently is to open the zandonum.ini file and set fullscreen=false and then start up zandronum and then enable fullscreen while ingame while making sure it's set to the correct resolution.
Once i close zandronum and reopen it.. it does the same thing. Stretches across multiple monitors and then crashes.

Also fun note. Now when I type the following commands I'm greeted with this fun message.
vid_listadapters: Multi monitor support unavailable
vid_adapter: Unknown command "vid_adapter"

Help please? It was working fine before and now it isn't

I'm currently using Linux Mint 18 MATE 64-bit

Any more information you'd like to know feel free to ask.

I've tried everything to my knowledge.

I've tried reinstalling zandronum and doomseeker
I've tried looking around in the .ini file.
I've tried completely purging it from my system and installing fresh
It still has this issue. Anyone?
